This settlement addresses issues where students were issued CDLs that were later invalidated due to improperly conducted skills tests.
The settlement covers Roadmaster Drivers School students who paid for CDL training between Oct. 26, 2016, and May 10, 2024, only to find their licenses were later deemed invalid by Pennsylvania’s Department of Transportation. Roadmaster Drivers School, a nationwide CDL training provider, denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to the $400,000 settlement to resolve these claims. As part of the settlement, affected students will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund, with estimated payments of around $800 per student.
